Jose P’s mother-in-law was in danger of losing her home. He decided to help her by selling his own home and giving her the proceeds. Unfortunately, he was unable to save her home and lost most of his money in the process. Jose was a hard worker and never thought he would show up at the doors of the Allentown Rescue Mission.
Once here, Jose joined the Transformation Program and took in all that was taught. He learned about God’s salvation and how to be a husband and father and began applying it to his everyday life. Jose received Jesus as His Lord and Savior and was instrumental in building others up in their faith.
After graduating from the Transformation Program, Jose began working for the Clean Team Workforce and has been a reliable and hard worker. He is excited to reconnect with his family and live life as God designed. Jose hopes to find a job that will allow him to provide for his family and one day own a laundromat where he can help people experiencing homelessness in their time of need.
